New Mexico freshmen teammates Habtom Samuel of Eritrea and Kenyan competitors Lukas Kiprop and Evans Kiplagat all placed in the top five in the men's 8-kilometer gold race at the 37th Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minn. Samuel won in 23:36.4, Kiprop took third in 24:02.5 and Kiplagat finished fifth in 24:14.1 for the Lobos, who were third as a team with 110 points.
